This scholarship will contribute to furthering my adult education in the field of nursing. I started taking Certified Nurse Assistance classes in the Continuing Education program of San Diego (adult education).  I am currently taking a vocational nursing program in the Grossmont Health Occupations Center in Santee, CA. I am very thankful for being selected and express my complete gratitude. I look forward to serving my community as a student nurse and as a licensed vocational nurse in June of 2023. – Diana Arenas, California

Michelle de Carneiro enrolled in adult education ESL classes to improve her English skills and upskill the credentials she already had.

After some time with her ESL program, Michelle applied for the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate program and was award a COABE  Google Scholarship.  “The Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate program was really powerful to me”, Michelle said, “because I could practice my English with the lessons, and I got the opportunity to update some subjects I already knew and learn new technology skills. Now I feel very confident about applying for a job that I really enjoy and can make a good wage.”

Her future goals include working for a well-established global data analysis company so that she can learn from seasoned data analysts here in the United States. She hopes to become a senior data analyst in the future, to return all of the training investment that Google has invested in her.
