Marsha Taylor

Region 4 (2024-2025)

Marsha Taylor is the Director of the Arkansas Adult Learning Resource Center (funded through Southeast Arkansas Education Service Cooperative) with over 30 years of experience in adult education, focusing on professional development.

Marsha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and an M. Ed. in Adult Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  She is currently working on her Ed.D. in Adult and Lifelong Learning at the University of Arkansas.

Her professional affiliations include the Arkansas Adult Education Advisory Council, Arkansas Adult Literacy Alliance Board Member, Arkansas Association for Continuing Adult Education, Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE), Association of Adult Literacy Professional Developers (AALPD) Board Member, Junior Auxiliary Life Member, Second Presbyterian Church Deacon, and The Centers for Youth and Families Center Corps Member. Marsha is a State Advocate for Adult Education Fellow Alumni from Cohort 2 and a State Association Leadership Institute member for COABE.

As the Director of the Arkansas Adult Learning Resource Center, a position Marsha has held since 2001. Her responsibilities include planning and directing statewide program activities, serving on state-wide advisory committees, and managing budgets. Marsha takes great pride in AALRC’s work for over 37 adult education centers and literacy councils.
